The statistics service allows you to view the details of the accesses to your website. The service is multilingual and is based on the SmarterTools : SmarterStats software.
The program will read the logs of the accesses from the server (which are not directly accessible to the customer) and it will code them in web pages so they can be viewed through Internet.
You must not enter any codes on the pages in order that the statistics work correctly, as they are based on the log files generated by the server.
There will be no counters on the website nor will it be possible to create pages that contain reports of the service. It is possible to create additional users with limited characteristics.
The access logs generated by the server for the statistics are stored for 90 days, therefore the Customers who need to view statistics relative to previous periods are obliged to download the report of the statistics from the provided control panel regularly.

Access to the logs of the Statistics service

The access to the log files of the accesses generated on the server is not possible.
Such logs are not available directly, but processed by the program and made available online through graphic reports.

Estimated time of activation of the Statistics service

The statistics service is generally activated, if no problems arise, in 24/48 hours from the receiving of the email confirming your payment.
In case of domains with a new activation it will be necessary to wait 24/48 hours from the activation confirmation email of the web space in order to use the statistics service.
Once it has been activated, you will receive an email with the access details and the necessary instructions.

Access to the results of the Statistics

Once you have received confirmation of the service activation you can view the accesses to your website at this address:
http://stat.nomedominio.xxx

the access page will appear and you must enter:

Id of the WebSite: domain name without www
User Name: login of the domain without @aruba.it
Password: domain management password

For domains with both Windows & Linux Hosting the statistics area will be separate.

Therefore to view the accesses to the pages published on Windows servers, you must go to the page:
statwin.nomedominio.xxx
While to view the accesses of the pages on Linux hosting you must access the page:
statlnx.nomedominio.xxx

How to Order the statistics service

The Statistics service based on the "SmarterStat" software can be purchased together with the domain registration or renewal order, or at any time through the “Additional services” area of the website hosting.aruba.it.
To order such a service you must have a domain with hosting on our servers (Windows Hosting, Linux Hosting, Windows+Linux hosting).
It cannot be activated, in fact, for domains without space (with DNS Management with and without mail, Redirect with and without mail and Aruba Nuke).
The cost is 12,91 + VAT and the duration is equal to that of the domain: therefore the expiration of the statistics will coincide with that of the domain, even if activated later.
